Junho received B.A. and M.A. in Cognitive Psychology from Seoul National University, Republic of Korea. During courses in Korea, Junho studied the theories of learning, thinking, and metacognition that would have practical implications for higher education and decision making. His M.A. thesis investigated more accurate condition of when a test-taker shows overconfidence in evaluating their own performance.
Junho entered UCLA reasoning lab in Fall of 2016, hoping to learn how to combine the methodologies of computational modeling and behavioral experiments to clarify our cognitive processes. He is interested in analogical learning and transfer, creative thinking, causal learning, and moral reasoning.
